Free vs Pro - what is included

Scoryboard has two memberships, Free and Pro. Pro is free during the beta. This is what each one gives you, and where to read it in the app.

Scoryboard has two memberships: Free and Pro. During the beta, Pro costs nothing. The Subscriptions screen lists what each one gives you.

Before you start

Two things on this screen are easy to mix up.

  • The free membership is called BASIC here. The rest of Scoryboard calls it Free. They are the same thing.

  • Platform Pro is your own membership, and it is free during the beta. Tournament Pro is a separate, paid plan for one tournament. This article is about Platform Pro.

Read the two plans

  1. Select Subscriptions in the sidebar. The screen opens on the Platform Pro tab.

  2. Read the strip at the top, under Your active subscriptions plan. It names the membership you are on now.

  3. Read the BASIC card. Its price is FREE. Its eight lines are what a Free account gets.

    The BASIC card: price FREE, then Limited friends in the friends list, Limited lineup features, Limited team features, Limited leaderboard features, Limited match features, Basic customizations, Request payments from players, and Ads enabled.

  4. Read the PRO card. Its price is FREE (with Beta): nothing to pay while the beta lasts.

  5. On a Pro account the same screen names PRO in the strip and offers Cancel subscription. The button on the PRO card is spent and reads "You are now a Pro member".

What you will see

The short version of the difference: Free puts a number on things, and Pro takes the number away.

  • Friends. Free stops at 14. Pro is unlimited.

  • Teams and leaderboards. Free gives you one leaderboard and no administrators - you are the only Owner. Pro gives you as many as you want, and more than one admin.

  • Lineups. Free limits your substitutes. Pro does not.

  • Matches. Pro adds photos and video to a match feed.

  • Statistics. Compare and profile views are Pro only.

  • Chat. Anyone can start a chat and send. Reading incoming messages in full is Pro.

  • Adverts. Free shows them. Pro does not.

If it does not work

  • You cannot find Subscriptions. It is the last item in the sidebar navigation, under Schedule.

  • The prices you see are in pounds and are not free. You are on the Tournament Pro tab. That tab is about paying for one tournament. Go back to Platform Pro.

  • The cards are blank. The plan text is fetched when the screen opens. Reload the page.
