This is every limit on a Free account, and the message Scoryboard shows when you reach it. Every one of those messages offers FREE Upgrade (Beta), which costs nothing during the beta.
The limits
What | Free | Pro |
Friends in your friends list | 14 | Unlimited |
The same friend on more than one of your teams | One team each | Any number |
Teams you own | No limit | No limit |
Administrators on a team | None - you are the only Owner | More than one |
Leaderboards you own | 1 | Unlimited |
Administrators on a leaderboard | None - you are the only Owner | More than one |
Substitutes in a team lineup | 3 | Unlimited |
Compare your stats with another player | Blocked | Yes |
See who has viewed your profile | The count only | The list of viewers |
Read incoming chat in full, and open attachments | Blocked - you can still start a chat and send | Yes |
Photos and video on a match feed | Blocked | Unlimited |
Adverts | Shown | None |
Your account starts with one leaderboard already made for you, so the leaderboard limit is reached from your first day.
The messages, one by one
Friends. A Free account holds 14 friends. Select Add Friend on a full list and Scoryboard answers before the form opens.
Team administrators. Add somebody to a team with the role Administrator and a Free account is refused. Owner is the only role you get.
A second leaderboard. Select Create New Leaderboard on Free and Scoryboard refuses, because you already own one.
Leaderboard administrators. Same answer on the Edit Leaderboard screen, with its own wording.
Compare. Open another player's profile and select Compare. On Free it offers the upgrade instead of the table.
Profile views. Your own profile shows a Views counter. Selecting it opens the list of who viewed you - on Pro.
The same two screens on Pro
Create New Leaderboard opens the form instead of the refusal.
The Views counter opens Profile Views, the list of people who opened your profile.
What you will see
All eight messages are the same window, with different words: a title, the limit in a sentence, and a FREE Upgrade (Beta) button. Selecting that button upgrades you on the tap and costs nothing during the beta.
Two of the limits behave in ways worth knowing about.
Adding a friend to a team takes them out of your friends list, and frees a slot against the 14. So the count you see on the Friends screen is the count that matters.
Adding a brand-new person to a team also makes them a friend. On a full friends list that is refused with the friend message, not a team one - even though you were adding somebody to a team.
The count of profile views is visible on Free. It is the list of names that is Pro.
If it does not work
You are under 14 friends and still refused. Count the Friends screen, not the people on your teams. A friend on one of your teams no longer appears in the list.
You were adding somebody to a team and got the friend message. That is expected. Adding a new name to a team creates a friend record first, and your list is full. Remove a friend or upgrade.
You want a second leaderboard and do not want Pro. Delete the one you have. The refusal says so.
The Views counter does nothing. Nobody has viewed your profile yet, or you are looking at somebody else's. The counter only opens on your own profile, and only once the count is above zero.
You upgraded and a gate is still there. Reload the page.
