Scoryboard can give your account free Tournament Pro slots. Each slot makes the next tournament you create a Pro tournament, at no cost and with no checkout.
Before you start
You cannot buy or claim slots. Scoryboard grants them. If your account has none, this panel is not there and the plans are the normal paid ones.
Check how many you have
Select Subscriptions in the sidebar, then the Tournament Pro tab. If you have slots, a panel sits above the plan cards.
Read the number on the right. That is how many tournaments are still covered.
When a slot is spent
A slot is spent the moment you create a tournament. Not when you ask for Pro, and not when you hit a Basic limit. There is no button to press and no checkout to go through: the tournament is a Pro tournament from the moment it exists.
What you do | What happens to your slots |
Open this screen | Nothing. Looking does not spend one. |
Create a tournament | One slot is spent. That tournament is Pro straight away. |
Upgrade a tournament you already have | Nothing. Slots do not apply to it - you pay for that one. |
Delete a tournament a slot paid for | Nothing. The slot does not come back. |
So the count on the panel tells you how many more tournaments you can create for free - not how many you can upgrade.
What you will see
A tournament made with a slot has everything Pro gives you, with nothing to pay: unlimited teams, sponsors, the advanced slideshow, Tournament Chat and fixture export.
The three plan cards stay on the screen underneath, and they still apply. A slot does not turn your account into an Annual subscriber.
When the slots run out the panel disappears and the paid plans apply again.
If it does not work
There is no panel. Your account has no slots. They are granted by Scoryboard, so there is nothing to switch on.
You have slots but an existing tournament is still Basic. Slots only apply to tournaments you create from now on. To upgrade one you already have, see "Upgrading a tournament to Tournament Pro" - that one is paid for.
The number did not go down. It falls when a tournament is created, not when you open this screen.
You deleted the tournament and want the slot back. It is gone. Deleting the tournament does not return the slot.
