How team and player statistics are calculated

What each statistic tile counts, why your Matches number can be lower than your team's, and which of the two CARD tiles is which.

Your figures and your team's are counted differently.

  • Your team's figures cover every match the team played.

  • Your own figures cover only the matches you were named in the lineup for.

So your Matches number can be lower than your team's.

Both sets of figures come from matches in a leaderboard. A match that is not in a leaderboard is never counted.

Find your numbers, and your team's

  1. Open Home. Your ten tiles are under your bio. Here they read MATCHES 3.

The ten player statistic tiles on Home, with the MATCHES tile outlined, reading 3.

  2. Open your team from the TEAMS panel. Its own ten tiles are on the TEAM INFO tab. Here they read MATCHES 4, because the team played one match this player missed.

The ten team statistic tiles on KB 11 Rovers, with the MATCHES tile outlined, reading 4.

  3. Select PLAYER STATS. Each member gets a row. The outlined row played three matches; every other row played four.

The Player Stats table on KB 11 Rovers, with Pia's row outlined: 3 matches where every other row reads 4.

What each team tile counts

Your team's grid repeats the first five tiles and the two CARD tiles, counted across the whole squad. Three tiles are its own.

What it counts

CLEAN SHEETS

Matches the team won without conceding. A 0-0 draw does not add one

WINNING STREAKS

The team's current run of wins

GOALS / CONCEDED

Goals scored, then goals let in

Under the tiles, TOP SCORER and MOST ASSISTS name one member each.

The two tiles called CARD

Both tiles are labelled CARD. The only difference is the small coloured rectangle beside the word. On the tiles, red comes first.

In the PLAYER STATS table and the LEADERBOARDS table, yellow comes first. Read the colour, not the position.

What you will see

Your Matches list and your Matches tile count different things. The MATCHES panel on Home lists your teams' fixtures, including matches you did not play in. The tile beside it counts only the matches you were named in. Four fixtures in the list and 3 on the tile is correct.

Your figures outlive the team. They stay on your profile even if the team you played for is deleted.

Rank orders the members of a team, from 1st down. Goals count for more than matches played: a member with fewer matches and more goals is placed higher. The full ordering is not published, and two members with identical rows can be ranked differently.

Compare on the Player Stats tab is a Pro feature. See "Comparing your stats with other players".

If it does not work

  • Everything reads zero. The matches are not in a leaderboard. Nothing is counted until they are, and a finished match cannot be moved into one.

  • Your number is lower than your team's. This is correct. You were not in the lineup for every match the team played.

  • Clean sheets is 0 after a 0-0. This is correct. Only a win adds a clean sheet.

  • A goal is credited to the wrong player. Goals follow the match feed. Whoever ran the match can correct the event while the match is still live. Once the match has finished, nothing about it can be changed.

  • The numbers have not moved since the match. See "When your statistics update after a match".
