Choosing Player of the Match

One button under the feed, one window, two choices. You can do it while the match is still running.

Player of Match sits under the match feed, beside the two card buttons.

Before you start

Only the team's Owner and an Administrator can choose - see "Starting, pausing and ending a match" for what everybody else sees. The match has to be running.

  1. Go to FEED and select Player of Match.

  2. Choose the team, then the player. Both teams are offered.

  3. Select Save. The choice joins the feed in the middle, with a laurel marker.

What you will see

You do not have to wait for full time. Choose at any point while the match is running. You can change your choice until it ends.

A laurel marks the player. It is one of the markers the KEYS panel explains.

It counts towards their record. Player of the Match appears in the team's statistics.

If it does not work

  • The button is not there. The match has not started, or it has finished, or you are not the Owner or an Administrator.

  • Save will not work. Choose the team first. The player field stays greyed out until you do.

  • The player you want is not listed. They are not in either lineup for this match.

  • The match has ended. Nothing can be added to a finished match.
