The FEED panel is the match's diary. It writes most of itself.
What the feed records on its own
Every goal, every revoked goal, every card and the Player of the Match, each with the score at that moment beside it. Scoryboard adds its own entries too. Starting a match you dated in the past is one.
Add a line of commentary
Select Comment under the feed.
Type your line. There is room for 300 characters and a counter to show what you have used.
Watch the counter as you type.
Select Post. Your line joins the feed like any other entry.
Photos and video
On Free, Add media asks you to upgrade.
On Pro it opens your files, and what you choose is posted with your comment.
Pro is free while Scoryboard is in beta. See "Free vs Pro - what is included".
What you will see
Anybody signed in can comment. You do not have to run the team. Only the automatic entries - goals, cards, Player of the Match - are limited to the Owner and Administrators.
The feed reaches every device at once. Nobody has to refresh. See "Live viewers, and following a match from another device".
Comments stop when the match ends. The four buttons disappear and nothing more can be added.
The note is not a comment. The line at the top of the feed is the match note, set once for the whole squad. See "Assigning a referee, and adding a banner or note".
If it does not work
There is no Comment button. The match has finished. Nothing can be added afterwards.
Add media asks you to upgrade. Your own account is on Free.
Post will not work. The box is empty, or you are over 300 characters. The counter tells you which.
Your line is not on the feed. Check your connection and open the match again. A posted comment is not held locally.
