Participants is everybody in the tournament: the teams, their players and your referees. Followers are the people watching it.
Before you start
You need to be the Owner or an Administrator of the tournament to add anybody. Anybody can follow it.
The three lists
Open your tournament and choose Participants. Teams lists every team with how many players it has, and Add Team adds another.
Add player on a row adds somebody to that team. It asks for a name and nothing else.
Players is the same people, listed with the team they are on.
Referees is the third list. Read Referees on a tournament to add one.
Followers
The follower count in your tournament header is a control. Choose it to see who they are.
Each row has its own Follow button, so you can follow a follower back.
Anybody looking at your public page can follow the tournament. Their header then reads Unfollow.
When the tournament is over
Nothing in Scoryboard marks a tournament "completed". What finishes it is ending the last phase, and you do that from Results. Read Tournament phases - preview, start, end and undo to end the last phase.
Once you have, three things change at once on Results: the score boxes are gone and the scores are plain text, START and END have gone from every card, and there is no phase banner.
Your standings, your leaderboard and your public page all stay up. Nothing is deleted.
If it does not work
Players is empty but your teams have members. The list only holds people added to a tournament team. Use Add player on the team's row.
You cannot find a Complete button. There is not one. End the last phase from Results instead.
You ended the phase by mistake. It cannot be undone. Ending the phase is final.
Your follower count has not moved. Following is a person's own choice; there is no way to add one.
