A payout account is where your money arrives. You need one before you can send a single request, and you only set it up once.
Before you start
Have your bank details and a phone to hand. Stripe collects them, not Scoryboard, so Scoryboard never sees your account number.
Anybody can set one up. It does not need a Pro membership.
Setting it up
Open Payment in the sidebar. Step 1 is the one you want.
Choose Request Payment.
Scoryboard creates your account. This takes a moment.
A Stripe window opens. Everything from here is Stripe's. Follow their instructions to finish, and do not close the window until Stripe tells you it is done.
Come back to Scoryboard and choose Request Payment again. If your account is ready you get the Request Payment window instead of Stripe's.
What you will see
Stripe asks for your phone number, your date of birth, your address and your bank details. It may also ask you to confirm who you are. How much it asks for depends on your country.
Step 5 is the check that matters. Scoryboard shows a "You're all set" message when the Stripe window closes, and that message can appear before Stripe has finished with you. The reliable test is whether Request Payment opens the request window.
If it does not work
Request Payment keeps opening Stripe. Your account is not finished. Work through Stripe's questions again to the end.
You skipped the bank details. Without them Stripe has nowhere to send your money and the account stays incomplete. Go back and add them.
The Stripe window did not open. Check your browser is not blocking pop-up windows for Scoryboard.
