When somebody asks you for money it lands on your PAY list. You do not need a payout account to pay - that is only for collecting.

Paying

  1. Open Payment and choose PAY.

  2. Check the amount and who it is going to, then choose Pay.

  3. The window shows what you owe and when it is due.

  4. It also names the person the money goes to.

The same window with the recipient outlined.

  5. Choose Pay Now. Stripe's card form opens - fill it in there to finish.

What you will see

Amount is what you will actually be charged. It may be more than the organiser asked for, because whoever sent the request can pass the transaction fee on to you. A £10 request with the fee passed on costs you £10.56; a £15 request with the fee absorbed costs you exactly £15.00. See Fees - passing them on or absorbing them.

Your card details go to Stripe. Scoryboard never sees them.

Finding a request from the team

A request raised against a team also sits on that team's PAYMENT tab, under Pay.

If it does not work

  • There is no Pay button on a row. That request has been cancelled, or you have already paid it.

  • Your card is refused. The request stays on your list and you can try again. See Payment statuses and failed payments.

  • You cannot find the request. Check the PAY tab rather than REQUESTED. REQUESTED is money you have asked other people for.
