Trending is a strip of cards near the bottom of your home page. It is a running record of what is happening on Scoryboard - teams being created, matches kicking off, players joining and winning.
Read the strip
Open the home page and scroll down to TRENDING.
Read a card. Under the sentence is a blue word and a time. The word says what kind of thing the card is about: MATCH, TEAM or PLAYER. The time says how long ago it happened.
Use the arrows under the strip to move along it. The left arrow is greyed out while you are on the first card.
Select a card to open whatever it is about - the match, the team or the player. The names inside the card are separate links: selecting one opens that team or player instead.
What you will see
Trending is not your own feed. It is activity from across Scoryboard, not only from your teams and the people you follow. You will see teams and players you have nothing to do with.
It moves on its own. The strip scrolls to the next card every few seconds. Use the arrows to go back.
It is newest first, and it goes on: more cards load as you move along the strip.
Your own news is in your notifications and your email, not here. See Your notifications - reading, marking and deleting.
If it does not work
You cannot find Trending. It is below your statistics on the home page. Scroll down.
A card is about people you do not know. That is normal. Trending covers the whole of Scoryboard.
Your own match is not in it. Trending shows a match when it is created, started, finished and won. A match that has done none of those yet is not there. Your own matches are on your home page under MATCHES.
The left arrow does nothing. You are on the first card. It turns dark once you have moved along.
You want to see only your own teams. There is no filter on Trending. Use your notifications instead.
