Comments live in two places: a team page and a leaderboard. Both work the same way.
Before you start
You have to be a member. On a team that means you are on it. On a leaderboard it means you are its Owner, an Administrator, or a player on one of its teams.
Everybody else can read the comments. They cannot add one, reply, or like.
Write a comment
Open your team and scroll down to Comments. The box sits above the existing comments.
Type your comment in the box.
To attach a photo, select Add Media and choose an image. It appears as a thumbnail under your text.
Select Comment. Your comment goes to the top of the list.
On a leaderboard
The panel is identical. Open the leaderboard and scroll down, or select the Comments tab, which scrolls you to the same place.
Sharing, commenting on and deleting a leaderboard covers this from the leaderboard's side.
What you will see
The heading counts comments, not replies. Comments (3) means three comments. Their replies are folded up behind View n more replies.
Photos only. The attachment picker takes images. It does not take video.
You cannot take a comment back. There is no edit and no delete, on your own comments or anybody else's. Read it before you send it.
If the box is greyed out
You are not a member. The whole panel still shows, and every control in it is switched off - the box, Add Media, Comment and every Reply. Nothing tells you why.
Ask the team's Owner to add you, or the leaderboard's Owner to make you an Administrator.
If it does not work
You cannot find a comment box on a match. There is not one. A match has a feed instead - see The match feed and commentary.
You cannot find one on a player or a tournament either. Teams and leaderboards are the only two places comments appear.
The Comment button will not light up. The box is empty. Type something, or attach a photo.
You posted the wrong thing. It cannot be edited or removed. Add a second comment correcting it.
