What a Scoryboard email looks like
All of them share one shape, top to bottom:
the Scoryboard logo;
a heading, and your first name under it;
the news itself;
a blue button that opens the right screen;
a Need Help? footer.
What sits in the middle depends on the kind of email:
A match email carries the fixture itself - both teams, the score if there is one, the venue and the kick-off time - and a View Match button.
A team invitation carries the team's name and an Accept Invitation button.
A verification email carries your six-digit code in a blue block.
A comment email names who did what, and which leaderboard they did it on.
Why there is no unsubscribe link
Every email above is about your own account, so each one carries this line in its footer:
This e-mail is a transactional e-mail relating to your Scoryboard account. It is not a marketing or promotional e-mail, so therefore doesn't contain an unsubscribe link.
News about new features is separate, and you choose whether to get it. See Why you are not receiving our emails for that setting.
How to tell a real one from a fake
The sender is [email protected]. Nothing else.
We never ask for your password in an email. A password reset email sends you to Scoryboard to set a new one; it never asks you to reply with the old one.
The buttons go to scoryboard.com. Hold the button to see the address before you open it.
If it does not work
Nothing is arriving. See Why you are not receiving our emails.
You want fewer of these. They cannot be turned off one by one. They are about your own account, and they are the same set for everybody.
You are getting emails about a team you have left. Check that you are actually off the team, on the team's page. Leaving is what stops them.
